Pearl Jam has been my favorite band for a long, long time and getting new music from them is always a treat. Their new song is quite a departure from their typical sound but I totally dig it. Looking forward to the new record in a couple of months!

This won’t be news to anyone who’s been using a 5K screen for any part of the last 5 years but I just got one of the LG monitors and holy crap is this thing amazing.
It’s really great that I can pair my AirPods with my Apple TV. It’s not great, however, that I can’t adjust the volume going out to my AirPods without using the Apple TV remote. The iOS options do not support changing the volume as far as I can tell.

That anyone at Hulu thinks injecting ads into a DVR recording is fine baffles me. So long, Hulu.
Hulu Live’s DVR marks advertisements as un-skippable. I never thought a DVR would actively fight against me like this. It’s so aggravating and I think I’m gonna cancel.

The Migration Assistant seems to have gone really smoothly over Thunderbolt 3. Aside from a bunch of annoying permissions popups again I’m happy with how quickly I’ve been able to get MacBook Scissorhands up and running (it’s a working name).
